Monarcoat 700 is an epoxy resin floor coating that is used where a fast-cure system is required, usually in an industrial environment. This epoxy resin provides the floor with an attractive finish as well as being dust-free. This quality is in high demand in areas such as production and food and beverage facilities which need to maintain a hygienic work setting. It also provides a chemical and abrasion-resistant epoxy resin floor coating. This is essential in industrial environments which deal with chemicals or need heavy-duty epoxy floor paint. Monarcoat 700 is based on a blend of epoxy resins, mineral fillers and solvents.
Demarcation and line marking are a key aspect of industrial flooring including factories and warehouses. Monarcoat 700 is specially formulated for forming lines, bay markings, zebra crossing, hatched areas and chevrons. These are vital aspects of the industrial sector as they are used to section off machinery, mark hazardous areas and denote pedestrian walkways. Due to the high pigment levels, Monarcoat 700 is used to produce a bright white and safety yellow which doesn’t have any opacity issues.
As well as in an industrial setting, Monarcoat 700 is also used within automotive. This includes car showrooms, car garages and workshops. Line marking floor paint is used to mark out the different areas of a workshop, this is including MOT bays which needs the correct mandatory safety markings surrounding the bays. These regulations are set by VOSA the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency. They are also used to mark out individual vehicle bays within car parks and showrooms.
