About Us

Trusted Resin Flooring Contractors in the UK Since 1987

Monarch Resin Floors is a UK based resin flooring contractor specialising in epoxy resin flooring, polyurethane screeds, anti slip flooring systems and other specialist resin solutions for industrial, commercial and sector specific environments.

Established in 1987, our family run business has grown over three generations while maintaining a focus on quality workmanship, practical technical advice and long lasting flooring solutions. We install resin flooring systems across the UK, supporting clients in sectors including manufacturing flooring, warehouse flooring, automotive flooring, food and drink flooring and commercial resin flooring.

A family business since 1987

Monarch was founded in 1987 by my grandfather, who established the business with a clear focus on delivering reliable flooring solutions and high standards of workmanship. That commitment to doing things properly has remained at the centre of the company ever since.

Over the years, the business has grown through three generations, combining long standing practical knowledge with modern resin flooring systems and installation methods. While the products and sectors have expanded, the family approach has remained the same: to provide flooring systems that are correctly specified, professionally installed and built to last.

Today, Monarch Resin Floors continues to install resin flooring systems across the UK, supporting a wide range of industrial, commercial and specialist environments. That long family history still shapes how we work, from the way we advise clients through to the care taken on site during installation.

What we specialise in

Monarch installs a wide range of resin flooring systems designed to meet the demands of real working environments. These include epoxy resin flooring, polyurethane resin flooring, anti slip flooring, decorative resin flooring, demarcation and line marking, fast cure resin flooring, food grade resin flooring and other specialist systems where hygiene, durability or safety are critical.

Our flooring systems are commonly used in:

We also install resin coved skirting, falls in floor to drainage, surface repair systems, primers and coatings as part of a complete flooring package. Every system is selected according to traffic levels, chemical exposure, cleaning regimes, safety requirements and operational use, ensuring the floor performs reliably over time.

You can explore more about the sectors and systems we install on our Resin Systems and Sectors pages.

Our installation approach

Successful resin flooring installation depends on more than simply choosing a product. Long term performance is achieved through correct preparation, careful specification and installation methods suited to the environment.

Our team provides a complete service including surface preparation, repairs, priming and installation of the selected flooring system. Preparation methods such as shot blasting and diamond grinding are used to create the correct surface profile and ensure strong adhesion.

Where required, we also install falls in floor to drainage, helping manage liquids effectively in environments where washdowns, spillages or hygiene control are important. In addition to internal flooring, we can install resin systems in a variety of other conditions, including external resin flooring, car park flooring and mezzanine floor coatings.

This complete approach helps prevent common issues such as delamination, premature wear and coating failure, while ensuring each flooring system is tailored to the way the space is actually used.

Working with trusted manufacturers and specified systems

Monarch works with a wide range of trusted resin flooring manufacturers, allowing us to recommend and install the most appropriate system for each environment rather than relying on a single supplier.

Manufacturers whose products are commonly specified across the industry and within our projects include Sherwin Williams, Remmers, Resdev, Vebro Polymers and Sika. These are only a few of the manufacturers we work with, depending on the specification, project requirements and end use of the floor.

Alongside these third party systems, we also install our own Monarch product range, giving clients access to both in-house systems and wider market options. This means we can work with specifier-led products, install systems already named within project documentation, suggest suitable alternatives where needed, and help ensure the final specification is based on performance and suitability rather than branding alone.

Who we work with

Monarch Resin Floors works with a wide range of clients across industrial, commercial and specialist sectors throughout the UK. Our resin flooring systems are installed in environments where durability, safety and long term performance are essential.

We regularly support:

In addition to new installations, we also carry out ongoing flooring works for many of our clients. This includes resin floor repairs, surface preparation, recoating and upgrades to existing resin floors where areas have worn over time or operational requirements have changed.

In sectors such as food and drink production, manufacturing and warehousing, flooring is rarely a one off installation. Floors often require planned maintenance, localised repairs or phased upgrades to keep them performing safely and efficiently. We regularly return to sites to carry out these works, ensuring flooring systems continue to meet the demands of the environment.

Whether the requirement is for a new build installation, refurbishment project or ongoing floor maintenance, our approach is focused on delivering practical, long term flooring solutions.

Industry standards and best practice

Monarch Resin Floors installs resin flooring systems in line with recognised industry guidance and best practice. We have been members of FeRFA (Resin Flooring Association) since 2013, reflecting our long term commitment to professional standards within the resin flooring industry.

We are also SafeContractor Approved and hold SSIP accreditation, giving clients additional confidence that our work is carried out in line with recognised health and safety and contractor compliance requirements.

Following established guidance helps ensure flooring systems are specified and installed based on real operational conditions, including traffic levels, chemical exposure, substrate preparation and environmental demands.
