Resin line marking is an important part of MOT flooring. The line dashes surrounding the MOT bays need to be a certain distance apart to meet with the health and safety standards set out. As well as the MOT markings, we also install gangways for pedestrian traffic and mark out vehicle bays. Line marking helps to show clearly where both people and vehicles should be placing themselves within a busy commercial garage. Workshops can have a high level of footfall and vehicle movement, this is why our line marking epoxy resin is hard wearing against this busy, every day wear and tear.
Below are some images to show the stages of MOT flooring, line marking around MOT bays. Firstly a safety yellow is installed surrounding the MOT bay. This is after the floor has been properly prepared and any other resin has been installed on the surrounding floors. Secondly the lines re measured and taped up which will then creates the hatching effect. Once the black has been installed and had the correct curing time, the tape is removed to reveal the final hatching for the MOT bays.
