The Training Academy needed a flooring system that could endure heavy foot traffic from students and staff, as well as the movement of vehicles within the facility’s workshops and training areas. To address the client’s demarcation requirements, we utilised Monarcoat 700, a specially formulated epoxy paint system designed for forming precise lines and markings. By leveraging the contrasting colours available with Monarcoat 700, our team was able to create clear markings for bays, pedestrian walkways, and hazardous areas. The high pigment levels of Monarcoat 700 ensured bright and durable markings without any opacity issues. As a result, meeting the industrial sector’s stringent safety standards.
Our installation methods
The installation process began with meticulous surface preparation to ensure optimal adhesion and longevity of the resin flooring system. Monargrip was applied across the 2000m² area of the training academy, and provided a durable and slip-resistant surface. Making it capable of withstanding the demands of the automotive industry.
Simultaneously, Monarcoat 700 was used to create precise demarcation lines, including bay markings, hatched areas, and chevrons. The fast-cure properties of Monarcoat 700 enabled the markings to be applied and re-coated within a few hours. As a result, this minimised downtime and disruption to the client’s operations.
