Monarch are epoxy resin flooring contractors who work throughout the UK. We mainly install our epoxy resin floors within an industrial setting. This includes factory flooring and solutions for the manufacturing sector. On this occasion, we were asked to complete epoxy flooring works for a manufacturer around the Coventry area. They had a new unit that was in need of a tough and durable floor surface. They also needed safety lines added in yellow and blue walkways in the new unit.
We first mechanically prepared the floor using a dust-free diamond grinding method. We also repaired and filled the existing expansion joints within the unit. Then we installed Monarcoat 720 in two coats which is an epoxy floor product. Once the resin floor was ready, we then installed resin line marking over the top. We used blue for the walkways and a safety yellow to form the lines as requested by the client. We used Monarcoat 700 for our resin line marking which is also an epoxy resin.
As you can see from the images below, the finish of the resin floor was excellent. Our client had the following comment:
